The rehabilitation process for patients and families is a journey. The rehabilitation nurse is a vital part of that journey, where we strive to help patients adapt to a new normal. If you’re an experienced neuroscience nurse, we’ll help you hone your practice by investing in ongoing education and professional development, and providing support for pursuing advanced degrees and advanced certifications in your specialty. Annually, TIRR Memorial Hermann invites a group of high school students into our facilities for a day of learning and inspiration in collaboration with CompassRN. The nonprofit organization connects youth in historically under sourced areas to health education and the field of nursing. Students visit stations covering various aspects of care and interact with health care professionals to learn about their roles and responsibilities. We are proud to support programs like these to support the next generation of health care professionals.
