Each year, approximately 2,000 American children are diagnosed with brain tumors. As not only a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors, UTHealth physicians affiliated with Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital provide treatment to children with a range of neurological disorders, such as spasticity, movement disorders, epilepsy, hydrocephalus, head injuries, craniosynostosis and spina bifida.

When surgery is required, we use minimally invasive endoscopic techniques that minimize patient risk, incision size and scarring. Each surgery we perform is aided by advanced imaging technology, including MRI, CT and MEG. We also perform minimally invasive procedures including neuroendoscopy and stereotactic radiosurgery.
