Ayesha Mohiuddin, MD, earned her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica, and completed her residency in pediatrics at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Dr. Mohiuddin was inspired to become a pediatrician because her aunt, who is a pediatrician, is a strong female influence in her life and she admired how passionate she was about her career.
Board certified in pediatrics, she treats patients from newborns to early adulthood for sick visits as well as preventive medicine, such as immunizations and wellness checkups. Her special interests include preventative and developmental pediatrics, caring for infants, providing breastfeeding support for new mothers, as well as caring for teenage patients. Dr. Mohiuddin is fluent in Urdu.
She strives to establish a partnership with her patients and their parents based on trust and dependability – she is always a phone call away. Dr. Mohiuddin listens to her patients’ concerns and is appreciative of the opportunity to make a positive difference in her young patients’ lives.
In her spare time, Dr. Mohiuddin enjoys spending time with her family and traveling, especially taking road trips.
