Dr. Mythili Vedala, MD

Mythili Vedala, M.D., is an internal medicine physician serving patients ages 16 and up. Dr. Vedala earned her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India and completed her residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Vedala comes from a long family of physicians, and was inspired to become a doctor by her father and grandfather.

Fluent in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, and English, Dr. Vedala treats patients for a variety of ailments both acute and chronic, such as diabetes, hypertension, depression, cholesterol, thyroid problems and many others. She performs in office procedures such as joint injections and skin biopsies. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine and obesity management.

With a friendly and sincere demeanor, Dr. Vedala strives to treat her patients as a whole and take into consideration their social and cultural background when determining the best plan for medical care. She strongly believes that empathy and compassion are important aspects towards the healing process. She cherishes long-term relationships with her patients and their families.

In her spare time, Dr. Vedala enjoys traveling and listening to music. Most importantly, she relishes spending quality time with her family.
