Dr. Wahaj Aman earned his medical degree at Aga Khan University Medical School in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Houston Methodist Hospital and McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). 

An assistant professor at the McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, Dr. Aman is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has been in practice since 2011. Dr. Aman’s primary clinical interests include interventional, peripheral and structural cardiology. He specializes in interventional cardiology, particularly in percutaneous treatment for coronary and peripheral arterial disease, valvular disease and cardiogenic shock.

His practice philosophy focuses on personalized, patient-centered care delivered with compassion and commitment. He also speaks Urdu.

In his free time, Dr. Aman enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, cooking delicious meals and enjoying strolls in parks.
